The R-080102 is a simple inside trimmer for plaster
which has been specially designed to ease
trimming in the dental prosthesis sector. The
trimmer is supplied ex-works with a 6-tooth
tungsten mill cutter (B), and a guard screen (A).
The trimmer has a suction tube (F) (the unit is
supplied with an adapter, ∅ 35 mm) located to the
rear of the machine. The tube leads directly to a
chamber where powder is taken during cutting, via
two holes on the operation table. A rubber gasket
between the upper cover and the main trimmer
body ensures a perfect seal between them, and so
cutting waste may only move through the suction
tube (F).
The appliance has a current pickup (G) at the rear
to connect up to the suction system.
The machine has four fastening suckers (C).
Particular care was exercised at the design stage
to provide sufficient weight and sturdiness to
prevent any movement during cutting operations,
and so no further attachment devices are required.

CONDITIONS OF USE

We recommend the following instructions be
observed for proper handling of the machine:
Unpack the trimmer carefully. Check that it has
•
suffered no damage in transit.

Connect the machine to an earthed supply of

220 V, 50/60 Hz.
Before cutting a part, it is important a suction

system be installed.
Connect the suction system.

Activate the main switch (C).
•
You must have sufficient protection during

operation of the trimmer, as follows:
Use safety goggles.

Use safety gauntlets.

Use a face-mask.

Always use the trimmer with the suction

facility operational.
Once operations

disconnect the main switch (C).
After the trimmer
•
recommend cleaning the work surface with a
damp cloth to remove any remains of plaster.
The machine has a protection system to prevent
sudden start-ups. If this system were not installed,
the trimmer motor would stop in the event of a
power outage. However, when the power returned,

DISASSEMBLY OF THE MILLING MACHINE
The machine is equipped with a 6 -tooth tungsten
mill cutter. Proceed as follows to carry out the
replacement operation:
1. Lift the work surface by loosening the four
attachment bolts with a 3 mm Allen key. This
position provides direct access to the milling
unit.
2. Use a 4 mm Allen key to loosen the bolt holding
the milling unit.
3. Release the mill unit, and replace if required.
The mill shaft has a flat surface which must fit
the screw.
4. To reassemble the milling unit, carry out these
instructions in reverse order. Be careful to
ensure that the rubber seal is correctly
positioned.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

To ensure proper, reliable and durable operation,
we recommend the following:
After the machine has been used, clean off the

remains of plaster and particles on the surface
or on the main trimmer body.
Use a damp soapy cloth for general cleaning.
•
Never
inflammable liquids.
Never submerge the trimmer in liquids.
•
Should abnormal noises or vibrations be
•
detected, send the unit to the technical
assistance unit.
Ensure that the rubber fitting provides a perfect
•
seal and does not let through any particles.
When changing the mill unit, check that the
•
trimmer works properly, with no abnormal
vibrations.
The machine has been designed for proper
•
operation resting on the four rubber supports.
These components can withstand the cutting
