USE
Note: The timing chain is installed in the engine on the transmission side. To change the timing chain,
remove the engine and disassemble the flywheel. Make sure that all marks are aligned correctly.
Camshaft Adjusting Tool (1),
to be used as OEM 1 18 760
For adjusting and holding the camshaft.
Crankshaft Locking Tool (2),
to be used as OEM 2 357 904
Holds the crankshaft in adjusted position.
Transmission and flywheel must be removed for using this
tool.
Flywheel Adjusting Tool (3),
to be used as OEM 2 288 380
Adaptor Plate for Adjusting Pin (4),
to be used as OEM 2 365 488
Tools (3) and (4) are needed on 2.0L engines (B47) with
automatic transmission. Remove the starter and install the
tools as shown.
Flywheel Adjusting Tool (3),
to be used as OEM 2 288 380
Tool (3) without tool (4) is needed on vehicles with manual
transmission.
