Keep this tool out of the reach of children.
- Remove the plug from the socket before repairing,
servicing or performing maintenance work on the unit.
- If the tool falls check that it is undamaged.
- These tools do not require the third wire for earth
connection.
- Do not expose to humidity or rain.
- Keep children away from the work area.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Before plugging the tool into an electric outlet, ensure that
the line voltage corresponds to that indicated on the data

plate.
Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.
If a 13 amp. (B. S. 1363) plug is used a 5 amp. fuse either
in the plug or adaptor or at the distribution board.
If in doubt - consult a qualified electrician.
APPLICATIONS:
Particularly suited for use by cabinet makers or whomever
requires a tool for flat sanding any type of wood.
This tool must be used with sand paper discs.
Do not use water with the tool.
When mounted using the support clamp, the tool operates

as a bench sander (fig. 2).

SUGGESTIONS FOR BEST USE OF THE TOOL

Ensure that the sand paper disks are accurately secured
to prevent damage to the work. We recommend that you
check that the fixing screw for the sand paper is positioned
correctly before you begin work.
Use the type of grain suitable to the sanding operation.
For precision sanding use fine graded sand paper.
Do not exert heavy pressure on cap (A) of the tool to obtain
best results. An appropiately adjusted spring guarantees
excellent operation and longer life for the sand paper disc
while preventing the wood from being burnt.
The special design of the tool base (C), allows sanding in
corners without any height restrictions (fig.1).
EXTRACTION
This sander is equiped with a provision for dust extraction.
For accurate, clean work, it must be connected to a
suitable dust extractor system.

No. 2 double-faced sand paper discs.

FITTING AND REPLACEMENT OF SAND PAPER
DISCS
To fit and replace a sand paper disc, just remove the
central screw using a normal screwdriver while holding
the plate steady with one hand.
Check that the countersunk screw which secures the
wheel is positioned correctly (it must not protrude above
the work surface).
Completely tighten the screw.
REMOVING THE SAND PAPER DISC PLATE
To remove the disk- holding plate (D):
- Remove the sand paper disc.
- Insert the wrench provided in the kit into the appropiate
space.
- Turn clockwise to unscrew keeping the plate steady.
SUPPORT CLAMP
To use the tool, press the power switch (E) which is located
inside the hand grip and, at the same time, engage start/
stop switch (F) which is located on the side of the tool.
To stop the tool, push the power switch again. The start/
stop switch automatically disengages.
