10. INSTRUCTION FOR USE
WARNING!
The pedal exerciser require regular maintenance and must be daily checked
to work in a proper way. We suggest to immediately substitute the worn or
broken parts that may cause damages to the patient. It is recommended that
an expert shows how to use the pedal exerciser and that the patient repeat
the procedure under his/her supervision. For a correct rehabilitation it is
necessary to maintain a correct posture. Before beginning the activity, consult
your doctor/therapist.
• Ensure that the screws are all completely clamped before use;
• Place the product in a stable way and in a flat surface;
• The positioning of the pedal exerciser in relation to the height of the seat must permit the
complete distension of the leg without having to incline the pelvis to the right and to the left;
• Start the activity only when the chest is almost straight;
• To gradually effectuate the rehabilitation, the pedal exerciser is equipped with brake for
the regulation of the effort intensity;
• Do not take the feet off the pedals while the pedal exerciser is in fuction;
• At the end of the use, turn clockwise the handle for the brakes regulation, to increase the
power and avoid that the pedals freely rotate causing possible injuries.
WARNING!
The non-compliance of the previous recommendations may cause injuries or
serious health problems.
