2 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

2.3 Maintenance

WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment, wear protec-
tive shoes, gloves and goggles.
• Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifi cations.
• Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
• Before any maintenance or adjustment operations, disconnect the air hose.
• Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
• Only service mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance is to
be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices shall be activated as
soon as maintenance work has been completed.
• All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorized Service
Points.
• When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorized by the serv-
ice mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- work has been completed;
- the machine runs in a trouble-free way;
- the safety devices are activated;
- no one is working on the machine.

3.1 Product identifi cation
The tool identifi cation details are indicated on the plate (1).

3.2 Product description

The tool is a pneumatic harvester for olives and coffee beans.
The vibration of the rakes (2) is transmitted to the tree branches, detaching its products.
The tool is mounted on an ergonomically designed extension pole handle (25), available in different lengths, that allows it to be
conveniently used from the ground.

3.4 Recommended use

The tool has been designed and manufactured to harvest olives and coffee beans as described above.
WARNING!
• Any other use has to be considered improper and potentially dangerous for the operators' safety. This would make
any warranty claims void.
• If it is not used for the purposes it was designed for, the harvester may cause serious injuries to personnel and
bystanders and damages to equipment and objects.
