4. Install the Module
- With help, carefully move the module into the recess.
- Be sure the bottom of the module is firmly supported against the floor. Some framing adjustment may be
necessary. Use shims as necessary. No additional support is required. The module must be plumb and square to
ensure proper shower door installation.
- Level the front, side, and back nailing in flanges. Use shims as needed.
- Be careful to prevent damage to the finished surface of the module. Pre drill on 8" (20.3cm) centers for the front
nailing in flanges. Pre drill the side and back nailing in flanges on the stud centers. If using metal stud
construction, drill the holes through the nailing in flanges and the metal studs before securing the module with
sheet metal screws.
- Use #6 large head galvanized nails to fasten the back wall nailing in flanges to the studs in the same manner as
described above. The front vertical nailing in flanges should then be secured to the studs on 8" (20.3cm) centers.

5. Install the Plumbing

CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Ensure a watertight seal on the drain.
- Connect the drain to the trap according to the drain manufacturer's instructions.
NOTICE: An access panel will simplify future maintenance.
- Install the shower, fill spout, valving, and supply connections. Strap the supply connections to the stud framing.
Provide access to the connections for future maintenance. Install the trim.
- Open the hot and cold water supplies, and check the connections for leakage.
- Run water into the bath, and check the drain connections for leakage.
