2. Consult the appropriate wiring diagram depending on which
version of the TBOS control module you have. Use the 2 Rain
Bird DBM "Quick Connect" wire connectors supplied with the
unit to wire the TBOS control module, the ON/OFF switch and
the underground shutoff device.
MODEL WITH DATE CODE BEFORE 02JA97 AND AFTER
02DE04 : Connect the brown wire from the underground shutoff
device to the black wires from the latching solenoids. Connect
the black wire from the shutoff to the black wires from the control
module.
MODEL WITH DATE CODE FROM 02JA97 TO 02NO04 : Cut
the yellow wire loop on the module. Wire the black wire from the
shutoff device to yellow wire A. Connect the brown wire from the
shutoff to yellow wire B.
Note : You can extend the length of the shutoff wires by using
wire sized at least 1,5 mm
Connect" connectors supplied with the unit to make the splices.
Important : The total wire length between the TBOS control
module and the shutoff device must not exceed 10m.
3. Perform a test by making a manual start with the ON/OFF
switch in position "ON" = shutoff without the cross. If the sand is
dry, watering should take place.
•Now, wet the sand and make another manual start. No watering
should take place.
•Place the ON/OFF switch in position "OFF" = cross on the
shutoff. Make another manual start. Watering should take place.
•Place the ON/OFF switch in position "ON" = no cross on the
shutoff. Your installation is now finished. The next time it rains,
the sand covering the probes will rapidly absorb moisture and
prevent watering if the natural rainfall is sufficient for your
plants.

. Use the waterproof DBY "Quick
