Note: If the control panel performs a maximum of 5 dialing attempts, and a backup cellular
receiver is used, best practice requires that the maximum PTM errors before takeover value be
programmed with 2 to ensure signals can be routed to the backup receiver before the panel
generates a failure to communicate a trouble condition.
