Connect the device
The voltage and frequency of the device (see nameplate) must match the voltage and
frequency of the mains connection. The minimum fuse of the mains connection must
be designed according to the specifications in the technical data - see "Technical data".
The device must be connected to the power supply via a residual current circuit breaker,
which interrupts the power supply if the differential current to earth exceeds 30mA. The
mains connection must comply with IEC 60364-1 and national regulations. When the
device is switched on, voltage fluctuations occurring under unfavourable mains
conditions (high mains impedance) can affect other connected loads. The mains
impedance can be obtained from the responsible power supply company. Operate the
device only on suitable mains supplys-for maximum permissible mains impedance, see
"Technical data". Observe the type designation on the connecting cable. Depending on
the mains voltage and cable length, the cores in the cable must have the specified
minimum cross-section.
