2. SAFETY MEASURES

READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY AND STORE IT WITH CARE
We advise you to read this instruction manual carefully, before using the
machine and to observe all safety precautions and measures to avoid possible
accidents.
For reasons of safety, the persons who have not read the instructions must not use the pump.
Do not use the power cable for transporting or moving the pump, always use the pump handle for all
movements.
3. USE SECTORS
Submerged pumps are recommended: for drainage, emptying, for pumping water into a home, in the garden,
for agriculture, in sanitary water systems and in many other cases.
The Narwhal and Dolphin models can be used only for pumping clean water (without any suspended foreign
bodies) whereas the Moray, Shark and Grouper models can be used also for pumping dirty water containing
suspended.

4. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In swimming pools, small garden lakes and in their vicinity, the pump may be used only with a
safety switch for fault currents, with a rated activation current of up to 30 mA (according to
standards VDE 0100 part 702, 738).
The pump you have bought is designed for transporting water at a maximum temperature of
35° C.
This pump can only be used with water. Using this pump with liquids other than water is
absolutely forbidden. In particular, it must not be used with fuels, inflammable liquids,
detergents and any other chemical product.
If the power cable or plug are damaged, do not repair the cable, but replace it with a new one.
This job must be carried out by a specialised electrician.
Before running your new self-priming pump, have the following checked by an expert:
