Step 2: Attach outdoor component
Open the packaging and remove the
outdoor component. When you have
removed the appliance, do not lift it
by the top air outlet, lift it from the
bottom.
Lift the outdoor component onto the
roof of the vehicle. Place it in a precise
fit and align it with the drill holes on
the roof. Do not slide the appliance
back and forth on the roof, otherwise
the sealing strip could come loose and
fall off.
Step 3: Installing the outdoor and indoor components
Before installing the indoor units, make sure that you have properly installed the
outdoor unit on the roof. Before tightening the screws, note the following:
• The maximum thickness of the vehicle roof may be between 30-80 mm.
• Before tightening the screws, first tighten the four screws by hand and do not
overtighten them.
• You can use electric tools to tighten the screws. Do not tighten the screws
completely. Tighten the other screws first so that the screw head does not get
wedged in the roof.
• The maximum tightening torque for the screws is
2.3 Nm - 2.5 Nm.
