Mark and Cut
Plumbing Pipe
Note: Measure twice, cut once!
Note: Use a pan or bucket to catch any remaining
water in the pipes.
•
Turn off household water supply line.
•
Turn on all faucets and drain lines
completely.
•
Measure overall length of configured
housing head.
•
Reduce this measurement enough to
allow for the amount of engagement
to determine how much pipe to
remove from the line.
•
Mark section of plumbing pipe that
will need to be removed.
•
Cut marked section from plumbing
pipe.
•
Remove any burrs or debris from cut
pipe edges with a file.
