Otoscopes – KaWe EUROLIGHT® VET C30
Dear customer, thank you for choosing a KaWe pro-
duct. Our products are known for their high quality and
long life. This KaWe product meets EC standards
084/589 EWG (standards for medical products).
Please read these instructions thoroughly and
carefully before attempting to use this product
and heed the given instructions.
Familiarize yourself fully with this product
before using it.
Use: These veterinary otoscopes are only to be used by
authorized personnel. They are intended for the medi-
cal inspection of natural body orifices such as the nose,
ear, or oral cavity of animals.
Purpose: The veterinary otoscopes are used for the
direct examination of the auditory canal and of the
eardrum using an ear funnel and handle for the pur-
pose of inserting the ear funnel equipped with a light-
ing fi xture with or without magnifying glass.
Operation: Satisfactory operation is guaranteed only
when standard 2.5V KaWe handles are used. These re-
quire two 1.5V "C" batteries (we recommend alkaline
batteries) or KaWe-brand rechargeable batteries (2.5 V
or 3.5V). Ensure that the polarity and lamp (2.5V or
3.5V) are correct! Slip on the instrument head and lock
it into place.
