ELECTRONIC PANEL FOR THE CONTROL OF ONE AUTOMATIC
BARRIER WITH A SINGLE PHASE MOTOR
RELAY
K1
- Power relay to enable opening and closing
TRIAC
Q1
- Power triac to enable closing
Q2
- Power triac to enable opening
Q3
- Power triac to enable flasher unit
LED
L1
- (Yellow) indicates secondary power supply (12Vdc)
L2
- (Red) indicates time settings
J1 TERMINAL BOARD
NL 1
- 230V 50/60 Hz power supply
J2 CONNECTOR
Via an optional card (Relay card 1 code no. ACQ9075) this connector
powers a garage light with a time setting between 1 second and 3
minutes (max. 40 W).
Otherwise the connector can power an optional card to control an
electromagnet (supplied with column with magnet set code no.
ACG8070).
For information regarding the auxiliary cards, request specific installation
instructions.
J3 TERMINAL BOARD
L/L
- 230V ac electronic flasher unit power supply
U
- Motor common
V/W
- Motor inverters
NOTE: If the capacitor is not already connected to the motor, connect to
terminals V-W
J4 TERMINAL BOARD
K-OUT - N.O. contact; in normal operation mode operates as a
sinusoidal pulse (performs commands OPEN-STOP-CLOSE-
STOP...); in PARK mode enables closing 1 second after
vehicle transit.
IN-PARK - N.O. contact; in PARK mode, if connected to a magnetic
sensor or photocell, it indicates the presence of a vehicle on
approach to entry.
9
- Open pushbutton (N.O.)
11
- Close pushbutton (N.O.)
8
- Contact common
J5 TERMINAL BOARD
Terminals for connection of antenna coax cable (type RG58-52)
N.B. Ensure that the earth does not touch the central wire on the
cable as this will restrict transmitters range.
J6 TERMINAL BOARD
10
- Photocells and strips contact (N.C.)
LSS
- Contact for limit switch that enables motor deceleration on
opening and closing (N.O.)
2
- Stop pushbutton (N.C.)
4
- Limit switch contact to stop opening (N.C.)
7
- Limit switch contact to stop closing (N.C.)
8
- Contact common
D+/D- - 12Vdc power supply for Photocells (ATTENTION to set them
to this voltage!)
J7 CONNECTOR
Connector for radio receivers (12Vdc power supply)
OPERATION VIA REMOTE CONTROL
Opens the barrier when closed.
During opening is not enabled until opening stop limit switch is reached.
Closes barrier when open.
During closing sends signal to invert movement.
SINGLE PULSE PUSHBUTTON (Dip4 OFF)
Connected to 8-K (performs commands OPEN-STOP-CLOSE-STOP...).
PUSHBUTTON PANEL AND SWITCH CONNECTION
In the case of two or more pushbutton panels, connect open and close
controls in parallel (8-9 and 8-11) and the stop contacts in series (8-2).
Connect keyswitches between terminals 8-9 and between terminals 8-
11.
If no stop pushbuttons are fitted, loop 8-2.
12 V DC INDICATOR LED CONNECTION (TO INDICATE BARRIER
OPEN)
Connect led to terminals D- and 7 (max. 6 W)
The indicator led illuminates when the barrier is fully or partially open.
PHOTOCELL/PNEUMATIC/MECHANICAL STRIPS
Connections of strips depend on the location of them on the system.
To protect the race during closing, connect strips to 8-10.
The direction of barrier movement is inverted on activation of a strip.
To protect the race during opening, connect strips in series to the stop
pushbutton (8-2).
The barrier stops on activation of the strip.
PHOTOCELLS (setted at 12Vdc)
The photocells (fitted as shown in scheme 2 and 3) can stop gate
movement during opening and closing "Dip 3 ON" (with movement
reactivation when the photocells are free).
The gate command can still be activated in the event of photocell
malfunctions but the flasher unit and motor remain shut down.
Photocells, if engaged while the barrier is open, renew the standby time
prior to automatic closing (if Dip5 is or will be ON).
230V 40 W FLASHER UNIT
Connect the SPARK DL series flasher (ACG7056) to terminals L-L.
In the RAPID barrier the blinker /flashing light has already been
connected.
To start the flasher 3 seconds before the motor, set "Dip 6 ON".
LIMIT SWITCHES
Connect limit switch commons to terminal 8 (common).
Connect the opening stop limit switch contact (N.C.) to terminal 4.
Connect the closing stop limit switch contact (N.C.) to terminal 7.
Connect the motor deceleration limit switch contacts (N.O.) in opening
and closing to terminal LSS.
S1 - TIMER MEMORY PUSHBUTTON
for operation and pause before automatic closing
S2 - MICROSWITCHES FOR CONTROL UNIT SETTINGS
Dip 1 - For future use
Dip 2 - Flasher
ON
- fixed output, use flasher unit with card ACG7059 (RAPID
Barrier).
OFF
- flasher output, use SPARK DL line flasher unit ACG7056
(NORMAL Barrier).
Dip 3 - Photocell
ON
- stops movement during opening and closing
OFF
- stops movement during closing only
Dip 4 - Operation mode
ON
- park mode
OFF
- normal operation
Dip 5 - Standby time prior to automatic closing (max. 5 min.)
ON
- enabled
OFF
- disabled
Dip 6
ON
- Heater card control (Heater for EUROBAR v.07) code ACQ9097
OFF
- Magnet control (code ACG8070 - ACG8073)
To manage the Heater and the Magnet read carefully the specific
manuals.
After each selection, reset by wiring in Jumper S3 for at least 1
second and remove the pin.
S3 - RESET
