Alarms and Alerts

During operation, if a fault or situation that impairs functionality or therapy is detected by the system, an
alarm will sound and an alarm message screen will be displayed. The status indicator light above the control
screen will change to blue until the alarm is resolved.
The alarm message screen will give details of the particular alarm trigger and suggest a course of action.
When the cause of the alarm has been removed, press the reset button to resume therapy.
There are five alarm screens and two alert screens; they are as follows.

CPR Alarm Screen

This screen is displayed when the air supply
connector is disconnected.
When the connector is reconnected, press
the reset button to clear this alarm.
The alarm sounder may be paused for two minutes
by pressing the pause button.

System Integrity Alarm

This screen is displayed when the system
experiences a fatal error.
Contact your local ArjoHuntleigh subsidiary or
agent for more details.
The alarm sounder may be paused for two minutes
by pressing the pause button.

Air Pressure Alarm

This screen is displayed when the system air
pressure falls outside the set parameters.
This may be due to damage to the mattress
or to the therapy unit.
Check the mattress and hose for damage.
Contact your local ArjoHuntleigh subsidiary or
agent for more details.
