4.3.2. Installation With Ducts
If you choose to use ducts, directing the air flow to areas not needing to be heated, you can to choose to:
Use outside air
If outside air is used, the unit may be placed either in a heated room or in an unheated room.
Do not use external grilles that may cause great lots of load, such as, mosquito/in-
sects grilles. When using grilles, they must allow a good airflow.
WARNING
Ducts used to direct the airflow are not included in the equipment, and it is up to the
installer to install them, if necessary, to comply with the manufacturer's recommen-
dations.
Diameter of pipes must be of 160 mm.
Each of the ducts (air inlet or outlet) should not exceed 8m in length, or the total
static loss of the installation should not exceed the static fan pressure (60Pa).
