Putting on / Taking off
Ensure that a trained fitter provides instruction when first putting on the
brace.
• Before the adjustable joint can be removed, the upper strap must be
removed. (Fig. 1)
• Then the joint can be removed through the opening and can be
adjusted. (Fig. 2/3)
• Grip the brace with the thumb on the inside at the upper end of the
lateral adherent nap straps. (Fig. 4)
• Pull the brace over your knee in such a way that the silicone ring
encircles the patella centrally and without pressure. (Fig. 5 + 6) The
middle of the joint should now be in a line with the upper edge of the
patella.
• Close both straps. (Fig. 7)
• To take off the brace, first open both straps, then grip the brace at the
lower edge and pull it down. (Fig. 8)
Care instructions
The silicone ring is not supposed to be removed when washing the brace.
Please close the hook and loop fasteners before washing and remove the
splint (Fig. 1). We recommend using a laundry bag. Fabric softener, fats,
oils and ointments can attack the material and the Clima Comfort Effect
can be impaired. Soap residues can cause skin irritation and material
wear.
