legal and technical requisites
The manufacturer declares that the appliances comply with
the EEC directives and requests that installation is carried
out in conformity with the standards in force.
During assembly, the following legal and technical requi-
sites should be adhered to:
- local building and fire safety regulations
- industrial injury legislation
- current CEI regulations
- current VVF regulations
COMMissiOning The AppliAnCe
Before beginning the commissioning, free the appliance
from the packaging. Some parts are protected with adhesive
film which must be removed carefully.
If any glue residue remains attached to the parts, it should
be cleaned with suitable products, such as benzine; do not
use abrasive substances.
Assemble the legs of the appliance; the appliance must
be levelled with a bubble level; small differences can be
remedied by adjusting the legs themselves. The main switch
or the socket must be near the appliance and easily acces-
sible.
The appliance should be installed under an extraction hood,
so that the steam can be evacuated quickly.
Install the appliance at least 5 cm from the wall unless the
wall is resistant to temperatures of over 150°C (see Fig. 1).
If the appliance is to be installed very close to walls, parti-
tions, kitchen furniture, decorative walls, etc., these should
be made of non-combustible material; otherwise, they will
have to be covered with non-combustible material having
suitable heat insulation, and you will have to be very careful
about fire safety regulations.
local ventilation
The room in which the appliance is installed must include air
inlets in order to ensure correct operation of the appliance
and guarantee air circulation in the room itself.
The air inlets must be of a suitable size, protected by grilles
and positioned where they cannot be blocked. (See Fig.2
- Fig.3)

Caution – warning
Do not install the appliance near other appliances that
reach high temperatures, so as not to damage the elec-
trical components.
During the installation phase, make certain that the air
suction and extraction ducts are not blocked.
insTAllATiOn
The installation, start-up and maintenance of the appliance
must be carried out by qualified personnel. All the necessary
installation work must be carried out in compliance with
applicable laws and regulations. The manufacturer declines
any responsibility in case of malfunctioning due to incorrect
or non-compliant installation.
Warning!
Before carrying out any work, switch off the mains power
supply.
As per international provisions, during connection of
the appliance, a device must be provided upstream from
the appliance which allows the omnipolar disconnection
of the appliance from the network; this device must have
an opening between the contacts of at least 3mm.
Caution!
The yellow-green earth cable must never be interrupt-
ed.
eleCTRiCAl COnneCTiOn
Connect the appliance to the power network as indicated
(see Fig.4 – Fig.5):
1) If not present, install an isolator switch (A) near the
appliance, with a magneto-thermal circuit breaker and
differential block.
2) Open the doors (B) (if present) and unscrew the screws
(C) in order to dismantle the control panel (D).
3) Connect the isolator switch (A) to the terminal board (H)
as illustrated in the figure and in the wiring diagrams at
the end of the manual. The selected connection cable
must meet HO7RN-F type specifications and be suitable
for use at a temperature of at least 80°C; it must also
have a section suitable for the appliance (see technical
data in the tables).
4) Pass the cable through the cable sleeve and tighten
the cable tie; connect the wires in the corresponding
positions on the terminal board and fix them. The yel-
low-green earth cable must be longer than the others
so that it will detach after the power cables in case the
cable tie breaks.
