Keep dirt, water and other contaminants from entering the hydraulic system.
Before opening the hydraulic fl uid reservoir fi ller cap, drain plug and hydrau-
lic lines, clean up contaminants that can get in the openings. Also, protect the
openings from accidental contamination.
4. Disconnect high pressure line fl ow control
valve, and fi ttings from pump assembly
(FIG. 4-1). Do not discard fl ow control
valve. It will be reinstalled.
5. Measure, mark, and drill holes in
mounting plate for the hand pump
bracket (FIG. 4-2).
