27. Lower platform 1/2 the distance
to ground (FIG. 16-2) by turning
hand pump release valve counter-
clockwise with handle (FIG. 16-1).
Turn release valve fully clockwise
to stop platform from lowering
(FIG. 16-1).
28. Reconnect power to the pump
by reconnecting positive (+) and
negative (-) cables to battery
(FIG. 16-3). Reinstall and tighten
nut when each battery cable is
reconnected.
