A
Switching on and off
Press the power button (Fig. 8-A) to switch the foldable power
wheelchair on. An acoustic signal will sound and the battery status
display will then light up. Press the power button again to switch your
foldable power wheelchair off.
Speed setting

You can adjust the speed with these two buttons (Fig. 8-B). There are 5
levels, depending on the level, 1 to 5 lamps light up.
•
Hold the button pressed to the left to decrease the speed (min. 1
lamp lights up)
•
Hold the button pressed to the right to increase the speed (max. 5
lamps light up)
The Via's maximum speed is 6 kph.

Battery status display
You can check the battery's charging level on the battery status display
(Fig. 8-C). If all colours light up (from red to green, Fig. 9), then the
battery is fully charged.

Using the foldable power wheelchair reduces the battery capacity.
Please follow the battery information (see Chapter 6.3.1).
Horn

The horn (Fig. 8-D) enables you to draw attention to yourself in difficult
situations.

4.1.1. Adjustments
Changes to the programming of the control unit
must only be carried out by an authorised dealer.
Changes to the programming have an impact on
speed, acceleration and brake delay. If carried out
incorrectly, this can lead to fatal injuries to the user
and/or a third party.
4.2. Getting in and out of the chair
Make sure that the foldable power wheelchair is switched off before
you take your seat or get off the chair.
Armrests
The armrests can be flipped up, in order to make it easier to transfer in
or out of the chair.
•
Rotate the lever downwards (Fig. 10a)
•
Flip the armrest upwards (see Fig. 11). Avoid positioning the
armrest beyond the dead angle.
To flip the armrest back down,
•
swivel the armrest downwards
•
rotate the lever back upwards (Fig. 10b).
Check that the armrest is firmly in place before you set off.
