Prior to first use
Remove all parts of the packaging and clean the product
according to the cleaning instructions.
Instructions
1. Cook unpeeled potatoes in simmering water and leave
to cool completely. Keep the boiled potatoes aside
with their skin still on in the fridge for one day or
overnight. To grate, cut the cooked potatoes (still in
their skins) from the day before in half crosswise. Take
one half, place it cut side down on the wire mesh and
press it through.
2. Twist the grater: Turn the top gray ring through 90
degrees until you cannot see any beige in the recess.
Turn the ring back again until the recess turns gray
again. This releases the cut potatoes from their skin.
3. To remove the skin: Use your fingertips to remove the
skin by sliding it along in the direction of the markings
on the gray lid. The wire mesh will help guide your fin-
gertips. Repeat steps 1 to 3; put the potatoes in a bowl.
Cleaning
After use, remove the lid from the transparent container.
To disconnect the two rings, move the arrow on the side
of the lid (bottom section) so that it is on top of the notch
(top section). You will now be able to release the rings.
Do not use any scouring agents or steel wool when
cleaning. Clean with a mild soap and warm water. The
transparent container is dishwasher safe.
