with bacon bits

Potatoes, boiled in their skins (waxy kind),
from the day before
80 g
Bacon bits
1 tsp.
Salt
Clarified butter for frying
1. Cut the potatoes in half, strain the through the
Hash Brown & Rösti Maker, place them in a bowl,
add bacon bits and salt to taste.
2. Heat a little clarified butter in a non-stick frying
pan. Reduce the heat. Divide the potato mixture
into 8 portions, place in the frying pan, shape
into little packages, fry them from both sides for
approx. 5 min. each side until golden brown.

Serve with: Sausages and onion gravy.

1 kg
Potatoes, boiled in their skins (waxy kind),
from the day before
2 tbsp. Each of thyme, rosemary and chives
200g
Semi-hard cheese
1½ tsp. Salt
Clarified butter for frying
1. Cut the potatoes in half, strain the through the Hash
Brown & Rösti Maker and place them in a bowl.
Finely chop the thyme, rosemary and chives, chop
the cheese into small dices and mix in with the salt.
2. Heat a little clarified butter in a non-stick frying
pan. Reduce the heat. Divide the potato mixture
into 8 portions, place in the frying pan, shape
into little packages, fry them from both sides for
approx. 5 min. each side until golden brown.
