9.- Menu Installation
9.1.- Auto Scan
Select this mode to carry out an automatic search over the whole receiver
input band.
In the option "Scan Mode", select one of the two options, "Free" (Only
the open channels) or "All" (All channels).
Locate the cursor on the "Search" option and press the OK button on
the remote control.
The complete search can take a few minutes.
If you wish to interrupt the search, press the MENU or EXIT buttons.
9.2.- Manual Search
Select this mode to carry out a search for a given channel or frequency.
In the option "Scan Mode", select one of the two search options, "by
channel" or "by frequency" using the -
In the option "Scan Band", select one of the two options for carrying out
the search: "UHF" or "VHF", using the -
In the option "Ch No", select the channel where the search will be made.
The channels vary according to the band selected. Select a channel
using the -
/
+
menu, select the channel with the PR+/PR- buttons, and select OK to
confirm.
If you are carrying out a search by frequency, enter the channel
frequency in the "Frequency" option, and the value corresponding to
that frequency in the "BandWidth" option. To enter the frequency, click
the OK button on this option. A cursor will be shown positioned over the
first digit to show that it may be modified by using the PR+/PR- buttons.
The -

buttons will allow you to select another digit. You can also
enter the frequency by using the numerical (0 ... 9) keyboard. Press the
OK button again to make the setting.
Check whether the channel or frequency you selected corresponds to a
digital channel. This will be easily seen if the quality bar at the bottom of
the screen shows an acceptable quality percentage.
In the "BandWidth" option, you can choose among 6, 7 or 8 MHz, using
the -
/
buttons.

Finally, place the cursor on the "Search" option and press the OK button
on the remote control.
You can continue the search process by using the indicators shown on
the TV screen.
If you wish to interrupt the search, press the MENU or EXIT buttons.
