In this case, you can move your RECARO
seat forward and back in exactly the same
way as with a standard seat. If in doubt,
please refer to the operating instructions for
your vehicle.

In this case, adjust your RECARO seat
using the adjustment bar (5).
To release the seat locking mechanism, lift
the adjustment bar (5) so that the seat can
be pushed forward or back. Release the
adjustment bar (5) once you have reached
the desired position. Make sure that the
seat audibly engages on both sides and
that the adjustment bar (5) returns to its
original position.

The front part of your RECARO seat is
equipped with a pull-out cushion (6) section.
Sit on the seat in order to adjust the seat
cushion length (6). Lift your thighs slightly.
Press the handle (6a) in the centre under
the cushion section (6) upward and slide
the cushion section (6) forward to the
desired position. If you wish to shorten the
sitting area, press the handle (6a) upward
and pull the cushion section (6) towards
you.
7. Lumbar support
(Expert and Specialist versions only)

Particular stress is placed on the lumbar
region when sitting. If this region is properly
supported, back pain and injury can be
prevented. Your RECARO seat performs
this function particularly well with its closed
backrest shell and ergonomic cushioning.
In order to support the lumbar region even
more, you can individually adjust the back
sitting
area
length
cushion bolsters by inserting the foam
wedges (7a) provided with the seat.
The backrest cushion (7) will sit on top of
the foam wedges, creating a raised support
for the lumbar region that you can really
feel.
To insert the foam wedges (7a), find the slit
between the backrest cushion (7) and the
side bolsters (3a) of your RECARO seat.
Pull the backrest cushion (7) up and push
the foam wedges (7a) underneath. They
can then be pushed up, down and to the
side. Find the best position for the foam
wedges (7a) by sitting in the seat and
testing the comfort.
8. Seat heating (optional)
(Specialist version or as an extra only)

To turn on the heating, press the button on
the switch (8a).
After a certain amount of time being heated,
the seat cushion will reach an optimum
temperature.
To turn off the heating, press the switch in
the other direction (8b).
Risk of electric shock and
overheating
There is a risk of electric shock if the
seat heating mats are damaged.
Therefore, do not place any sharp or
heavy objects on the seat or stand or
kneel on the seat.
Do not use decorative covers or any
other covers for your seat in order to
prevent it from overheating.
