ARMING WITH ZONES OPEN
If zones are open during system activation, before confirming the action the keypad will display:
Different methods can be used to continue with activation:
A. Cancel the procedure by pressing 'C', close the open zone and attempt activation again.
B. Force activation by pressing "ENTER". This method forces activation, generating a fault condition for the open zones (to be
used only when the zone cannot be closed, because it reduces the security level of the system).
C. Exclude the zone. This method allows you to exclude the open zones from activation (to be used only when the zone cannot
be closed, because it reduces the security level of the system). Refer to the full manual for zone exclusion procedures.
ARMING IN PRESENCE OF FAULTS OR TAMPERING
The forcing procedure is suggested by the keypad even if there are faults or tamper events on the system during activation.
IMPORTANT: the user may not be authorised to force activation in the presence of certain faults or tampering; for
authorisation contact your installer.
ALARM LOCK IN PROGRESS
There are two ways to lock an alarm in progress:
A. Deactivate the system (with the system activated) (code + "Open padlock" key)
B. Send the 'Stop alarms' command.
There are two ways of sending a 'Stop alarms' command:
A. enter the user code and then press and hold the 'prog' key for at least two seconds.
B. alternatively,
enter
'ENTER' when you reach the "STOP ALARMS" command.
An alarm lock causes the outputs (sirens, etc.) to switch off and cuts off any calls which are in progress or in a queue.
CAUTION: The STOP ALARMS procedure does not deactivate the system. If a system was activated, it will remain
so; only outputs and telephone calls will be blocked for that specific alarm.
ACCESSING THE USER MENU
The user menu is accessed by entering the user code followed by the "PROG" key. A guide to all user menu options is available
online. Refer to the full manual for all options available in the user menu.
User code (6 digits)
EVENTS DISPLAY
If an event occurs, the keypad will display it on both lines, with the first line displaying the type of event (fault, open zone,
tampering) and the second displaying a description of the event. To move from the event display screen to the standby screen
and vice-versa, simply press 'C'.
BUZZER
The buzzer integrated into the keypads beeps when any valid key is pressed. Plus, based on the options selected during the
programming phase, it can indicate a number of control panel conditions and statuses, such as alarms, activations, deactivations,
entry and exit times... Refer to the full manual for details regarding these indications.
