Make sure the flow direction is
•
correct.
•
Disconnect adapter fitting by
pushing the collet inward and
pulling the fitting out.
•
Remove the adapter fitting from the
filter and discard. (See diagram).
•
Cut the end of the tubing squarely.
Check the end of the tube to make
sure it is smooth with no ridges or
nicks. If needed cut the tubing again.
•
Push tubing through the collet and
all the way into fitting. The length
of the tubing should extend 11/16"
into the fitting.
•
Check for leaks.
Filter Replacement
(every 5 years)
•
Filter should be replaced every 5 years
(or sooner if pressure drop occurs).
•
Do not use with water that is
microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection
before or after the system.
•
Check filter every six months for leaks.
•
Filter life and/or capacity is dependent upon
filter system, water quality and amount of
water filtered.
The Brita® Inline Icemaker filter used with this filter
system has a limited service life. Changes in taste,
odor, and/or flow of the water being filtered indicate
that the filter should be replaced.
