ADJUSTMENTS
PLATFORM SIDE BEARING ASSEMBLIES
There are four side bearing assemblies (two on each side) of the platform. The two
on the left side looking from the platform side of the machine are fixed with screws
and washers. See FIG 3. The two on the right side looking from the platform side of
the Platform Lift are spring loaded against the main frame. See FIG 2. They must be
adjusted correctly for the Platform Lift to function effectively. The right side screws
can be accessed by removing the removable back panel. To correctly adjust the
springs remove the screws and apply blue loctite no. 242 to each screw. Tighten the
screws until tight (springs solid), then back the screws out ONE full turn. When
complete, reinstall the removable back panel.
