CHANGING THE EYECUPS

The SkyMaster Pro features interchangeable
eyecups to accommodate a variety of viewing
situations. Included with the SkyMaster Pro are
a set of standard eyecups and a set of winged
eyecups. The standard eyecups are ideal for
general observation and most viewing situations
while the winged eyecups are recommended for
viewing situations when the amount of stray light
entering the eyepieces needs to be reduced for
optimal viewing. The winged eyecups may need
to be used are during astronomical viewing. To
change the eyecup grasp it with the thumb and
forefinger near the base of the eyepiece housing
and simply pull it away from the eyepiece
housing. Once removed the other eyecup can
be attached.
