is used in whole or in part for human habitation. Use of this heating device in Massachusetts requires local fire
department permit (M.G.L.C. 148, Section 10A).
NEW YORK CITY RESIDENTS: The New York City Fire Code prohibits the storage, handling and use of kerosene
fueled heaters for space heating. Any person violating that provision may be punished by a fine up to $10,000
and a term of imprisonment of up to 6 months.
THE INSTALLATION OF THIS HEATER SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REGULATIONS OF THE AUTHORITIES
HAVING JURISDICTION.
