5. Press and continue to hold down the Page key
the handset beeps. This can take between 10–15 seconds.
Note: The Page key is used for registration and is located on the PowerTel
base that the handset will be registered to. The key will have an icon like
this on it. See page 10 for an example of where it may be located.
6. The new additional handset is now successfully registered to the base.
POWERTEL and the number of the handset registered to the base is
displayed, e.g. POWERTEL 2.
Attach the belt clip (optional)
Slide the belt clip into the two holes located on either side of the handset.
Your PowerTel 501 handset is now ready for use!
