Insert the rechargeable battery pack into the handset and plug it in as shown.
Dispose of battery pack properly. Do not allow battery pack to come into
contact with fi re or water.
3. Charge handset
Place the handset on its base to charge for a minimum of 15 hours before use.
Important: Only use the rechargeable battery pack model GPHCH73N07, 750mAh
NiMH supplied by GPI INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.
4. Register the handset
Prior to use, the new handset must be registered to a PowerTel base.
For PowerTel 500, 580 or 580 Combo registeration, use the instructions below. For
older PowerTel models, follow the instructions on page 8.
Important: Make sure the handset is fully charged before registering it.
