With the increase of the air flow, the load over the motor also increases. Do not
go beyond the maximum current indicated in the motor nameplate.
The electric motors have permanent lubrication bearings, and do not require any additional

lubrication.

Inspect the filters, at least once a week, washing them if required. For severe applications,
inspect them more frequently.
Do not operate the unit without the air filters in place. The access and removal of the air
filters is made through the front of the FC5 unit(s).
a) Of the Condenser and Evaporator Fan Section
For the evaporator unit, remove the screws from the closing panels of the fan section in
order to allow a better access, according to the chosen assembly position (See item 4.3
– Positioning on Site).
b) Internal Cleaning of the Ventilation and Heat Exchanger Modules
The ventilation and heat exchanger modules are internally insulated with expanded
polyethylene, covered with a thin aluminum layer, which allows cleaning the inside with a
wet cloth. Surrey DOES NOT recommend to clean them with water jet.
