The cleaning process
will then take 5 to 10
minutes. Do not drink
any water that is rinsed
out during the entire cleaning
process!

Screw in the filter as far as
it will go, so that you can no
longer see the screw fitting.
Read off the filter capacity
from the filter documents.
Enter the figure manually.
Confirm by pressing "OK".
The remaining filter
capacity is reset and
shows 99 % again. The
system is cleaned and
ready for operation again.
Confirm that the new filter
has been inserted by press-
ing "OK".
For descaling filters,
the local water hard-
ness must be known
in order to ascertain the

Note that centralised water
softening changes the value
for your household, which
then no longer corresponds
to the value given by your
water company.
