When viewing a slow picture
Press the TIME MODE (
during play back.
TIME MODE
• Sound will not be heard.
• When the picture shakes up and down
during slow playback, press the V-LOCK
button to improve the picture.
• Press the TIME MODE button, and view
the picture at the desired slow speed.
You may not hear normal sound during playback
• L2H recording tape
• L6H recording tape
• L18H recording tape
• L30H recording tape

When viewing a forward reverse
slow picture
• Press the P/STILL button to pause the
picture.
• Turn the JOG dial to view slow reverse
playback or turn the JOG dial to view slow
forward playback.
• Press the PLAY button to view the normal
picture again.
• When slow play is continued for more than
five minutes, the tape will stop
automatically.
To hear the normal sound
• The tape must be recorded in L6H,
L18H and L30H modes and be
played back at the recorded
Slow sound
speed.
