This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic
fields (EMF).
Preparing for use
Note: Make sure your hands and the appliance are dry when you insert the
battery.

Turn the battery compartment cap anticlockwise to unlock it and
pull it off the appliance.

Put a battery in the battery compartment (type LR03 AAA).
Make sure the + and - poles of the battery point in the right direction.

Push the battery compartment cap back onto the bottom of the
precision trimmer and turn it clockwise to lock it.
Note: Remove the battery if you are not going to use the trimmer for a month
or more.
