15.1 Digital cameras:
A) E-TTL flash mode
The digital cameras only support the E-TTL flash
mode in the full auto mode (or "AUTO"), program
"P", "Av", "Tv" and in the programmed image
control modes. Use of the Metz TTL Remote Mode
and the secondary reflector of the mecablitz is not
possible for system-inherent reasons.
Do not use sensitivity values exceeding ISO
100 in the close-up range to avoid the risk of
overexposure!
PowerShot G1
The PowerShot G1 does not transmit any aperture
or ISO values to the mecablitz. For this reason, the
maximum flash range is not indicated in the LC
display of the mecablitz. This, however, is irrelevant
for correct flash control in the E-TTL mode.
Manual flash exposure correction
Any necessary manual flash exposure correction
values for the E-TTL flash mode must be set on the
camera. On account of the camera's layout, the
setting of a correction value on the SCA adapter or
mecablitz is not possible or will have no effect.
B) Auto flash mode A
The auto flash mode A will be supported by the
camera only in the manual mode M. Switch the
camera to "M".
