Installation and use of the oil probe module
The function of the module is to check for the presence of any water in the oil by means of a sensor probe inserted
in the oil chamber.
When the percentage of water exceeds a predetermine value, the probe closes the circuit between the sensor and the
equipotential contact of the pump, lighting the respective warning light HL4 on the panel to indicate the fault.
The module is a standard feature on all panels for pumps with star-delta start.. Instead, all panels for three-phase
pumps with direct start are provided with a housing for fitting the module afterwards.
Installation of the oil probe module
To install the probe module in panels prepared for this function, it is necessary to follow these steps:
1 - Switch off the electric power supply.
2 - The module must be fitted in the place of the terminal board CL1, so the cables must be disconnected and the
terminals removed. The cables must be connected to the new device installed (the number of the wire is the same as
the number of the terminal to which it is to be connected).
3 – Check that the connection made corresponds to the wiring diagram.
4 - Supply power to the panel.
On the module there is a green warning led (ON) which lights up to indicate that the device is powered.
The module must be set as follows; different configurations do not guarantee the required functions:
With this potentiometer it is possible to set the relay sensitivity from 2.5 to 100 kohm
Sensitivity
Default : 80 kohm
Mode
DOWN This function must not be changed.

Installation and use of the floats
-
Mode with one float:
float B is not used, so a jumper must be fitted on its input (terminals 3 and 4). Float A has the start and stop
function.
-
Mode with two floats:
float A has the stop function.
Float B has the start function. An impulse is sufficient to start the pump, which will be deactivated only after
activation of the float A.
When the pump block red warning light is lit, the floats do not work.

USE OF THE PANEL FOR FEEDING IN-LINE CIRCULATORS
SINGLE-PHASE PANELS WITHOUT THERMAL
PROTECTION FOR THE MOTOR
Connect the circulator between L1-N of P1.
Jumper 3-4 of B.
Connect thermostat in 1.2 of A.
THREE-PHASE PANELS WITHOUT THERMAL
PROTECTION FOR THE MOTOR
Connect the circulator between U-V-W of P1.
Jumper 3-4 of B.
Connect thermostat in 1.2 of A.
For three-phase circulators, calibrate ref. QM1 according to the data plate values of the
circulator.
