9. Turn off the vacuum motor
by moving the switch to the
center "off" position. The
processed material must cool for
approximately 4 minutes before
opening the frame. Release the
hinged frame knob and open the
frame to remove adaptation.
10. Use the frame latch knob to
prop open the frame, allowing the
gaskets to cool.
11. To remove the cast from
the adaptation, first cut away the
flat surplus material with scissors.
Trim as close to the cast as
possible to facilitate
handling.
12. A knife or disc (or any grinding
wheel suitable for trimming excess
acrylic) can be used to cut through
the material at the periphery of the
cast to separate adaptation from
the cast.
Caution: A knife should be used
only on the thinner base plate or
clear material.
13. Complete detailed trimming
with scissors, razor or electric knife,
producing professional finished
results.
