POSSIBLE CAUSE
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Turn the ON/OFF switch to I
Check the mains plug
Check electric current supply
Change the external fuses. Caution: the unit includes a
third, internal, fuse that is inaccessible to the user.
Contact the dealer
Check the footswitch: plug in firmly
Replace the footswitch or contact the dealer
Wait for the device to cool down
Check the electrode-holder cord:
- Push unit-side connector in properly
- Push electrode-holder-side connector in properly
Check the capacitive coupler: the connector must be all
the way in
Contact the dealer
Follow the indication Patient Side printed on the
capacitive coupler.
Make sure the entire surface of the capacitive coupler is
in contact with the lightly- clothed patient, for example,
on the scapula.
Set the unit to O. Clean the electrode.
Reduce operating speed
Select the appropriate electrode for the operating
procedure
Replace the electrode
Increase power up to the incision threshold. There is no
need to go beyond this threshold
