SELECTING A PROGRAM
• Press the PROGRAM button (SW5) to call up one of the nine
storable programs.
• The display shows the message "P1".
• Use the INCREASE (SW3) or DECREASE (SW4) button to
select the number of the desired program.
• Press the PROGRAM button (SW5) again to view the cooking
mode and set value for the program. (Press the PROGRAM
button (SW5) again to return to the choice of program).
• Press the START/STOP button (SW1) to confirm the selec-
tion.
• The display shows a time or a power level, depending on the
mode (indicated by the lit leds).
• The INCREASE (SW3) and DECREASE (SW4) buttons can
be used to change the value before starting the cycle. (This
new value applies only to the current cycle).
• Press the START/STOP (SW1) button or put a plate in posi-
tion to start the cycle.
STORING A PROGRAM
• To store a new program, select an operating mode, set the
time or power level desired, then press the PROGRAM
(SW5) button for four seconds.
• The display shows the first of the 9 free positions. Use the
INCREASE (SW3) or DECREASE (SW4) button to select the
number of the desired program.
• Press the PROGRAM (SW5) button to store. The display
flashes to indicate the program has been stored.
NOTE: If all the positions are taken, the display shows the
message "FLL", meaning all spaces are FULL. Press the IN-
CREASE (SW3) or DECREASE (SW4) button to select a posi-
tion already taken and overwrite it. To begin the new program
created, press the START/STOP (SW1) button or put a plate
in position. If you do not wish to use the program, long-press
the START/STOP (SW1) button for one second to deselect the
function (the display shows three dashes).
PLATE DETECTION MANAGEMENT
• To start a selected cycle, a plate must be positioned on the
grill. When the plate is removed, the cycle automatically
stops. This optimizes energy consumption.
• If no cycle or program is selected, the function does not ac-
tivate.
POWER CUT
• If there is an interruption in the power supply during a cycle,
when the power supply is restored the cycle starts again from
where it was interrupted. Time cycles start again from the
beginning.
DISPLAY OF FIRMWARE I.D.
When the board is switched on, the display shows the code of
the keypad firmware followed by the code of the main board
firmware.
9 PROLONGED DISUSE
Before any prolonged disuse of the appliance, proceed as fol-
lows:
• Clean the appliance thoroughly.
• Rub stainless steel surfaces with a cloth soaked in Vaseline
oil to create a protective film.
• Shut off the main switch upline of the appliance or pull the
plug out of the socket.
Following prolonged disuse, proceed as follows:
• Inspect the appliance thoroughly before using it again.
• Operate the appliance in HOLDING mode at level 7 for 15
minutes.

REMINDERS FOR CLEANING
The manufacturer will not be liable for any damage or in-
jury resulting from failure to observe the following rules.
• Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply and
unplug it before carrying out any procedure.
• Clean the satin finish stainless steel exterior surfaces, the
cooking wells and the surface of the hotplates every day.
• At least twice a year, have an authorized technician clean the
internal parts of the appliance.
• Do not use direct or high pressure water jets to clean the
appliance.
• Do not use corrosive products to clean the floor or shelf be-
neath the appliance.
• Do not wash the body or flame spreader of the hob burners
in the dishwasher.
SATIN FINISH STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES
• Clean the surfaces with a cloth or sponge using water and
proprietary non-abrasive detergents. Follow the grain of the
satin finish. Rinse repeatedly and dry thoroughly.
• Do not use pan scourers or other iron items.
• Do not use chemical products containing chlorine.
• Do not use sharp objects which might scratch and damage
the surfaces.

• Read this manual carefully. It provides important information
for safe installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.
• Appliance maintenance must be carried out by qualified tech-
nicians authorized by the manufacturer, in compliance with
current safety standards and the instructions in this manual.
• Identify the specific appliance model. The model number is
detailed on the packaging and on the appliance data plate.
• The appliance must be installed in a well-ventilated room.
• Do not obstruct any air vents or drains present on the ap-
pliance.
• Do not tamper with appliance components.
10 COMMISSIONING
After installation or maintenance operations, check the applian-
ce is in perfect working order. In the event of any malfunction,
consult the next Paragraph "Troubleshooting".
10.1 ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
Switch on the appliance as directed in the instructions and re-
minders for use given in Chapter " INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
" and check:
• the current values of each phase.
• the correct operation of the heating elements.
