Leak Check; Start-Up - GOK 500ERAZ Instrucciones Par El Montaje Y El Funcionamiento

Install with suitable tools, if required.
Regarding screw connections, use a second spanner to brace against the connection nozzle.
Do not use unsuitable tools, such as pliers.
Installation of filters:
• Always install the filter vertically (filter cup at the bottom)
• Comply with the installation direction  for assembly of the connections
accordance with the labelling on the product!
• Install the filter devices tension-free in the piping without a wall bracket
• Check and ensure leak-tightness!
Installation of filter cup for type 500 type 85E see replacement page 14)
• Loosen the clamping ring
• Do not damage the O-ring, replace if required (oil new O-ring!)
• Fit the filter cup and the O-ring and manually tighten by rotating the clamping ring
clockwise direction
• Check and ensure leak-tightness!
Installation of the wall bracket (optional)
• Mount the wall bracket (mounting material not included in the scope of delivery)
• Type 500ERAZ and 500ZAZ: Loosen 2 screws
the wall bracket – with the handwheel
again using the screws
• The wall bracket should only be used for mounting the filter!

LEAK CHECK

Check the condition of the system:
• before initial start-up,
• after major changes,
• after repairs,
• after the system has been out of operation for more than one year.

START-UP

Start-up occurs (if available) with the handwheel on the shut-off fitting
with the system. Vent any possible gas or air inclusion in the filter cup through the system.
Type 500ER... :
For these single conduit filters with return supply, the piping can be vented during start-up by
activating the ventilation valve
• Push the connection hose onto the nozzle, open the ventilation valve.
Once the filter element
no more air escaping from the connection hose:
• Close the ventilation valve
• Remove the connection hose
If the fill level in the filter cup drops or it runs empty then there is a leak in the system.
SHUT-DOWN immediately!
Fuel oil consumer installations should be checked for perfect condition by a specialist
company, or specialist company under water law where applicable, before initial start-up.
Fuel oil consumer installations which do not satisfy the TRÖl requirements may not be
started up.
