REPLACING THE HEAD KIT (CONT.)
Step 2:
Apply a small amount of grease to the three points
indicated by arrows. See Fig. 2
Step 3:
Position the Pawl, #3 and the heart spring, #4 as indicated
in Fig. 3
Step 4:
With the pawl and heart spring in place on the drive. Place
the assembly inside the head of the ratchet. Be sure the
drive is inserted on the recessed side of the head.
See Fig. 4.
Step 5:
Place the completed head drive down on a flat surface.
Take the direction plate and orient the pin with the tip of the
heart spring ensuring the pin fits into the gap. See Fig. 5.
