Electrical connections

The power supply voltage must correspond to that indicated on the apparatus.
All connections must be dimensioned according to the power of the apparatus
and the condition of the installation.
The following values are for informational purposes and must be checked and
adapted to the installation conditions as required:

*** A fuse or D curve current breaker adapted to the type of unit must be installed in series at
the head of the power supply line of the filtration unit's electrical control panel (upline from the
GFCI).
Use the cable glands and grommets provided inside the heat pump to route
cables.
As this machine is installed outdoors, connections must be made with a
polychloroprene cable or with standard cable routed in protective conduit.
The electrical cables must be buried in pliable electrical conduit (red) at a
depth of 50 cm (85 cm under a roadway or path).
When an underground cable conduit crosses another cable or other utility
(water, gas...), they must be separated by a distance of at least 20 cm.
It's necessary to use a Desjoyaux electrical box for a complete installation. The
ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) on the relay box must be tested periodically
(at least once per month).
The heat pump must be connected to a ground which is common to all other
electrical pool equipment to prevent severe electrolytic corrosion. This ground
connection must have an acceptable resistance value and be measured
periodically.
The heat pump must operate only when water is circulating in the system.
The heat pump must be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation must
comply with current regulations (NF C 15 100)
