Installation of a CONEL alarm system with integrated washing machine stop
The FLOWBOX-N is fitted with a high level sensor that activates an audible alarm if the waste water
rises to an unsafe level due to pump failure (alarm KBN FLOWBOXSAFEKIT is not included and must be
ordered separately as an accessory).
It can be refitted at the opposite side of the unit as follows:
/
Remove the tank cover by releasing the snap connectors.
/
Unscrew the alarm sensor from the retaining fixture.
/
Pull the alarm assembly from the tank wall.
/
Remove the blank alarm seal assembly from the corresponding location at the opposite side of the
tank.
/
Feed the alarm sensor through the opening in the tank wall and attach to the adjacent retaining
fixture.
/
Push the seal components of the alarm assembly securely into the tank wall.
/
Fit the blank alarm seal into the opening left vacated in the tank wall by the removal of the alarm
assembly from its original position.
After relocating the high level sensor, place the cover on the tank. The o-ring must be placed evenly in
the provided groove in the tank cover. Push the cover down until all four snap connections engage.

For wall suspension

The unit can be hung on a wall using the two slots at the rear and the separately supplied brackets. This
simplifies the floor cleaning process (see page 40, figure 5).
Also observe the section under "For ground set up".
/
Install the brackets according to the drilling template drawing (the tank should be hung 85 mm
above the ground).
/
Hang the tank.
8.3

For front wall installation

The lifting unit can also be installed behind a front wall when using a vent line or the separately available
front wall installation set. Otherwise observe the section under "For ground set up" as well as the
operating instructions for the front wall installation set KBN: ABSVIS.
ATTENTION!
In order to prevent the formation of moisture in a pre-wall installation, a separate ventilation line must
be taken out of the front wall according to DIN.
