CONEL wastewater lifting system FLOWBOX-N per DIN EN 12050-2, above-floor installation
for draining water from a wash-hand basin or kitchen sink, a washing machine or dishwasher, a
shower tray or bath tub.
In cases where the supply flow to the lifting system must not be interrupted during normal
operation, the lifting system must be equipped with a second supply device (double system) of
the same capacity, which switches itself on if necessary.
/
The FLOWBOX-N is suitable exclusively for the transportation of clear water, chemically neu-
tral grey water as well as household wastewater free of faeces and without aggressive, greasy,
twisting constituents with solids up to 12 mm diameter or with a solid content up to max. 0.5%.
/
Not suitable for:
The transport of corrosive, combustible, gaseous or potentially explosive media, wastewater
from urinals or toilets, as well as wastewater containing faecal matter.
Cleaning, disinfecting, rinsing and washing agents in excess quantities or those which can lead
to disproportionately large foaming.
Oils, fats (for example, separable and emulsified oily and fatty substances of vegetable or animal
origin).
Sandy or other abrasive media as they shorten the service life.
Condensate from ventilation systems, heat pumps and condensing boilers, and brine from
water softening systems.
/
T his product is suitable for pumping fluids with medium temperature of 40 °C or up to a
maximum of 60 °C during short term operation. If the pump is supplied with dirty water from
washing machines the alkaline cooling must not be switched off for energy saving reasons. If
the alkaline cooling is not switched on, this may cause damage to the submersible pump, for
which we cannot assume any guarantee or honour the warranty in that case. If necessary,
please contact the manufacturer of the device for the state of supply intended for the
connection. Our systems are checked in accordance with EN 12050 LGA and conform to the
current standards. Also note that the maximum inlet temperature in the public sewer system is
35 °C and that you must ensure that the water is cooled accordingly.
/
The noise emission value is less than 70 dB (A).
/
As with any electrical appliance, if due to the specific use a failure of the pump can cause da-
mage (for example in the case of faulty operation, due to a power failure or a technical defect).
If this can result in consequential damage an alternative system (for example emergency power
supply, double pumping station, network-independent alarm) must be available. In that case, to
prevent uncontrolled water leakage, the high level alarm sensor integrated in the tank must be
connected to the optional alarm system with cable (KBN: FLOWBOXSAFEKIT) available as an
accessory.
