2.3.9 - FAILURES

This controller is equipped with a failure system monitor. When any failure to
the air system occurs, the display will show a message according to the table
below:
FAILURE
Alternator failure
Air return sensor failure
Duct sensor failure
External sensor failure
Pressure Switch failure
Comunication failure
Valve connection failure
1- This controller possesses a parameter to monitor the alternator. In case
of failure or in case the alternator is not recharging, the display will show
(AL), however the outlets will continue to be on.
DESCRIPTION
2- In case of failure on the air return sensor, the display will show (FI)
3- In case of failure on the air duct sensor, the display will show (F3)
4- In case of failure on the external sensor, the display will show (F5)
5- If pressure failure occurs, the display will show the message (FP) and
the system will shut the compressor off. The system will wait for 3 minutes
to turn the compressor on again, once the failure is corrected.
6- In case of communication failure the display will show (FC) and only the
cooling mode will work.
7- In case the heating system valve connection fails, the display will show
(EI)
Important: Whenever a failure to the air conditioner system is identified, the
vehicle must be sent to a Spheros authorized service station.
