Safety Instructions
1.1
General
•
Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
It is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.
•
Keep this user manual.
It must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
•
Do not open the housing.
•
NEVER let the product unattended in use.
•
Compare the specifications of product, power supply and
peripherals. These must be identical.
•
Not meant for children.
•
Do not repair defective products by yourself, but contact the
dealer or producer.
•
Do not modify or alter product nor accessories.
•
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct
sunlight, vibration and mechanical pressure.
•
Place, install and transport product, product parts and acces-
sories in a safe way.
•
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries when not in use.
•
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
•
Do not short connectors and circuits.
Notes for network separation
The product has no power switch and may be used only in easily accessible outlets
to quickly remove it in an emergency and after use.
•
Voltage-free only when the plug is pulled.
•
In case of emergency, during thunderstorms and after use,
pull the pro duct on its plug housing!

Description and Function
2.1
Plug-in Charger
Your plug-in charger can charge 1 to 4 (Ni-Cd / Ni-MH) size AA / AAA or 1 to 2 9 V
rechargeable batteries. The operating LEDs provide information about the current
state of charge of the batteries.

Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
Description and Function. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not
attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Compare the specifications of all used devices to ensure
compatibility.

Connecting and Operating
5.1
Connecting
•
Plug the plug-in charger into a well reachable mains socket.
5.2
Charging batteries
Risk of injury by (rechargeable) batteries
If used non-intended, some cells can heat up, leak, or rupture.
•
Do not over-charge.
•
Charge no defective batteries.
•
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
•
Put in batteries correctly.

Plug 1-4 AA / AAA batteries or 1-2 9V blocks into the battery
bays.
2.
Remove the batteries according to their maximum charging
time.
If an operating LED does not light up despite the battery being inserted, the battery
was either inserted incorrectly or it is defective.
The green LED flashes 2x and goes off when the power is on.

The green LED flashes slowly during charging and remains lit when the battery is
fully charged.
The green LED flashes quickly in error mode.
To charge 9 V-block batteries, the LED lights red during charging.
After 8 hours charging will be interrupted by a safety timer, regardless of charging
status.

The products are maintenance-free.
Material damage

Clean only with a dry, soft cloth.

Do not use cleaning agents and chemicals.
•
Store cool and dry.
Remove rechargeable batteries when not in use.
•
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Disposal Notes
