When using the material in a Sympress II dispensing
device, please activate the speed setting indicated on
the product label. Failure to comply with this instruction
may modify the curing characteristics of the impression
materials. If you are using a unit other than the Sympress
mixing device, please follow the instructions for the auto-
matic dispensing and mixing system you are using.
When changing to a different mixing device, always
discard at least 3 cm of mixed material.
Using the VOCO Dynamic Dispenser system
(380 ml cartridge system; 5:1) in dispensing
device Sympress I or Sympress II
• By pressing the plunger return knob, allow the plunger
to return to its original position automatically (while the
cover is closed; figure 3, page 82). Next, open the
cover (figure 4, page 82).
• Insert the VOCO 380 ml cartridge with the pre-assem-
bled mixer in the Sympress I or Sympress II dispensing
and mixing unit (figure 5, page 82). (If you are
working with a previously used cartridge, the filled mixer
will already be located on the cartridge as a cap).
• If you are using a Sympress II dispensing device, please
activate the speed setting indicated on the product
label. A light signal will confirm your selection.
• Close the device cover (figure 6, page 82).

Using the cartridge for the first time
• Dispense the impression material (ensure that the
dynamic mixer type 30 is wound into place fully) until
the base material and catalyst are mixed homogeneously
(see coloring of the mixed impression material); discard
at l east the first 3 cm when dispensing (figure 7, page
82).
• At least 3 cm of the mixed material must be discarded
each time the plunger is restarted or when using the
cartridge in different mixing units.
• Load the impression tray with the required amount of
material (figure 8, page 82) by pressing the appropriate
feed key. Hold the impression tray at an angle when
loading and press against it lightly.
Leave the mixer in the material when dispensing to
avoid air bubbles.
• Release the feed key as soon as the required amount of
material has been dispensed. The filled dynamic mixer
should remain on the cartridge as a seal.
• Remove the used mixer before the next application by
turning it to the left (figure 9, page 82), visually
check the outlet opening for blockage and attach a new
dynamic mixer (figure 9, page 82).
• Remove the completely empty jumbo cartridge from the
dispensing and mixing unit and dispose of it according
to regional regulations.
