Note:
To ensure optimal impressions, the temperature of the
material should not deviate from 23 °C (74 °F) before
applying. Otherwise, working and setting times will be
affected.
Dry prepared teeth before impression taking.
The warranted product characteristics can only be
achieved when using the original Sulzer Mixpac mixing
tips as approved by VOCO. All the mixing tips for use with
our respective products are available from VOCO.
Impression tray: Preparation and adhesives
In principle, all common impression trays can be used if a
relevant dynamic pressure is guaranteed. When retention
is not sufficient, ensure a strong bond to the impression
material, by brushing the impression tray with a thin film
of V-Posil Adhesive for addition-curing silicone prior to
loading the tray with impression material. Allow to dry per
manufacturer's instructions.
Instructions for use:
Jar material for hand-mix putty preparation
Only use materials with the same lot number.
Do not interchange the Base and Catalyst lids or scoops
for hand-mixed jar putty.
Use the scoops to dispense equal amounts of Base and
Catalyst.
The different color scoops must only be used for the mate-
rials with corresponding colors.
Close the containers carefully after use, and ensure that
the lids are not interchanged.
Contamination of Base and Catalyst in the container ren-
ders the material unusable.
Knead the Base and Catalyst for 45 seconds until the
material is homogeneously colored.
Should gloves be worn, test them for compatibility prior to
mixing with a sample of the material to be mixed. Certain
types of gloves (such as latex) can prevent the polymer-
ization.
Using vinyl gloves is recommended.
Prior to taking the wash impression, the preliminary
impression must be cleaned with water, dried and
trimmed using standard methods.
Instructions for the safe handling of the VOCO
Dynamic Dispenser system (380 ml cartridge
system; 5:1) in dispensing device Sympress I or
Sympress II
Prior to first use please unscrew the blue plug counter-
clockwise and pull it out (figure 1, page 82). Check the
outlet opening. Then screw on the dynamic mixer type
30 (figure 2, page 82). Ensure that the positioning aid
is on the top.
Please use only the dispensing and mixing components
compatible with the VOCO 380 ml cartridge system for
dispensing and mixing impression material.
The VOCO 380 ml cartridge is heavy and could be
damaged if dropped. Damaged cartridges must not be
used under any circumstances.
